On the 1st of July 2023, Eurofins E&E ETC Ltd (“ETC”) was acquired by Eurofins Electrical and Electronics UK Ltd, and we will formally become part of the Eurofins E&E UK legal entity.
Although Eurofins E&E ETC Ltd will continue to exist at Companies House for a short period, we will no longer operate under this name. We will continue to be known as the Eurofins E&E ETC Laboratory, maintaining the link with the ETC name that our customers are familiar with.
The following information will apply as of the 1st of July 2023:

Our registered company address, VAT number, telephone number, email address and UKAS Accreditation Number will stay the same. Please ensure that any relevant records you hold are updated accordingly with the new information.
As important as these changes are, we’d like to let you know that the team in the Bideford lab that you work with will be the same. The same people will answer the phone, respond to emails and carry out the calibration and EMC testing work.
The Eurofins E&E name will be familiar to many of our customers as we’ve operated under this brand for several years. Our branding, marketing materials, quotes, reports and invoices have carried the Eurofins E&E logo, so the change you will see will be minimal.
The high level of service that you have come to expect from ETC over the years will continue to be delivered, and by becoming part of the larger Eurofins E&E UK company, we can provide a broader range of services and capabilities to existing and new customers alike.
Any calibration results, reports or test results issued under the Eurofins E&E ETC Ltd name will remain valid. They can continue to be used to support your product conformity marking, Declarations of Conformity and Technical Files.
Any quotes provided by Eurofins E&E ETC Ltd will remain valid for the period stated on the quotation. If you have any questions about the validity of quotations, don’t hesitate to contact the Eurofins contact on the quote.
Some changes will happen quickly, such as the name you see on quotations, reports and invoices, and some will occur over the coming weeks, such as email signatures, signs on buildings etc.
As part of our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, we are reviewing all areas where a branding change is required to minimise waste as much as possible.
Please pass this information on to anyone in your organisation who may need to know about this change.
In particular, your finance team should be aware of these changes so that invoices raised by Eurofins Electrical and Electronic UK Ltd are associated with the Eurofins E&E ETC Ltd name and any payments made are processed promptly.
